If you thought you didn’t have to worry about your kids while they were at school, think again. A new “game” is becoming popular with students at schools across the country, and it’s causing a lot of concern among parents. Known as the “eraser challenge,” it involves kids rubbing an eraser on their skin while simultaneously having to do some sort of dare or task. According to TODAY, the concept started as a social media challenge, in which some kids will actually post videos or photos of themselves with painful marks or scars from the eraser burn.
Several schools across the country, including the example below from East Iredell Middle School in Statesville, North Carolina, are urging parents to be aware of this latest social media fad.
