For sure many of us have seen plenty of homeless street dogs. Do you stop and spare them your time? Or you simply walk away and act as if you never saw them?

Even though there are so many people who are willing to help homeless and street dogs, there are still plenty of them in the streets. Buzu is one of them. People see him in the streets but they never gave him a second look. Some individuals don’t really give much care for dogs like him.

In fact, many are irritated by how he follows people around. They fail to see that Buzu just needs help.

Buzu would desperately try to get the attention of the passersby on the streets of Romania. Probably hoping that one of them would turn to look at him and toss him a scrap of food, or maybe, to show him a little kindness.

But no matter how much he tries, people will just walk past him. Until one person did!

A stranger made Buzu a makeshift doghouse made of a cardboard box and an old chair cushion. This is when a nonprofit rescue organization named Howl of A Dog heard about Buzu’s plight in the streets. So they decided to find out more about him and what they could do to help.

They asked around and found out that Buzu has been in the streets for about a year or so. The dog had gotten used to his life in the streets and was trying to live on food scraps and maybe realized that scavenging is what he should do to live for the rest of his life.

When it comes to his health, Buzu is living a terrible life. He was covered in fleas and his condition was so bad that he would constantly scratch. This resulted in a large patch of bare skin. Obviously, he looked sad and defeated.

Howl Of A Dog returned to rescue Buzu. When they found him, his cushion was gone and he was afraid of these strangers. They tried to throw him a few treats to win him over. Eventually, they won him maybe when he realized that these people were not there to harm him, but to help him.

Buzu happily took the treats and allowed his rescuers to pet him. This made him happy and he was wagging his tail!

The rescuers brought Buzu to their facility and immediately gave him a flea bath. This is what this poor dog needs. He looked relieved while his rescuers were lathering him up. They also checked him and they noticed that his skin condition was chronic. He has hair patches that never grew back.

His teeth were also in terrible condition. Some were torn while others are missing maybe because of the unhealthy or harsh food that he is getting from the dumpster.

Buzu stayed with Howl of a Dog for a year before he was adopted by his loving mom, Emma. She spoils him too much. She gave him a cozy home, lots of food, and even an open grass to play. She would also put on some cute outfits on him especially during holidays.

Buzu now has a doggie sister that he also loves so much. He was such a happy dog that he even won an award, “The Happiest Most Waggy Tailed Dog. ”
