A family of Spanish tourists has been attacked by a restaurant owner in Albania following their complaints about the food and the service.
The horror-like event was recorded on video by one of the victims of the attack as they tried to escape the restaurant owner with their tour guide and driver.
After the family of tourists had complained about the service and the food, they were physically attacked by Mihal Kokedhima, the owner of a restaurant in Southern Albania. In their attempt to escape the violent attack, they became witness of an even more horrific scene as Kokedhima jumped in front of their tour guide’s windshield and began to punch the glass to shatters as they drove for about six and a half minutes until they were seen by a police van.
The tourists were sent to Saranda’s hospital in southern Albania, while the restaurant owner was arrested by the police.
According to the media, the restaurant “Panorma” in the picturesque area of Porto Palermo had been suspended from service by local authorities since 2017, but it still continued to host guests and tourists.
A search on the travel website, Trip Advisor reveals that complaints about the restaurant’s quality of food, service and foremost previous attacks by the owner and his family against tourists have been present at least since 2015.
